It's too bad IF Vince killed himself. I believe most suicides are a rather selfish act to get "back" at people. That big WHY? and what did I do wrong? He had his own demons and charactor flaws to deal with (as we all do).
And, assuming that it was suicide, Vince chose death over life, and where the chips may fall as a result -with some survivors playing the blamegame. Which sucks.
He's gone, (maybe his choice) and I'll miss him. I enjoyed his contribution to the GD and Missing Man Formation.
On a lighter note (dare I?) i bet Bruce Hornsby is shittin bricks!

lol!!! yeah, this don't bode well for hornsby does it. that would suck from a human and musical perspective. i love hornsby's playin.
btw - i do agree with you on the suicide issue. it is one of the most selfish acts a human can perform. i have known several people over the years who have done this, and the emotionally crippling ripple effect on those who loved them is enormous. death through illness is devastating enough. i can certainly "understand" why one may do it (lord know i had serious thoughts of that during hard times in the past) - but understanding does not do anything to alleviate the utter selfishness of the act itself. (damn, i am a windbag today)
